About Ollie + Squish: Discouraged by a lack of cute and fun boy prints, Carly Scheck started Ollie + Squish when she was pregnant with her second son. She began creating the brand in her Brooklyn apartment in 2017, mixing and matching fun colors and whimsical prints that would suit both boys and girls alike.

ABOUT THE BRAND 

Ollie + Squish was created by Carly Scheck in 2017 in her Park Slope apartment while pregnant with her second son.  There seemed to be so many cute options for baby and toddler girls, but the boys options always seemed so limited.  The current trend of mini me, or dressing babies and toddlers like adults also did not appeal to Carly.  She wanted her kid’s clothing to reflect their curious and playful personalities.  Fashion should always be fun, but especially when you are a child.  Each piece was created by Carly with the child in mind.  She tried to imagine what items children would pick out to wear if they had the ability to pick.  What items would become their favorite pieces, and which pieces would enhance and become an extension of their play.
